The Peel Window (Faith, Hope and Charity) In memory of three members of the Peel family of Windhill

(there is a memorial plaque to the left of the window);

William the Father (left lights)
Rebecca the Mother (centre lights)
and a daughter Henrietta (right lights).

No manufacturer stated or date dedicated (but William died in 1867)

Two panels, one below and one above gallery, each divided into 3 lights. Between are three lights with scenes.

Above Gallery: Top: a dove (Holy Spirit) ascending. Below to either side on Left a pelican on Right the Lamb of God. It may be significant that all three of these symbols are on the title page of the 1611 King James Bible.

The main three lights are each divided into two parts:

Left top: Commission to Peter: inscription John C. XXI V. XVII
Centre Top: Christ Resurrection: inscription Matthew C. XX V. III
Right Top: Healing blind Bartimaeus: inscription Mark C. X V. LII
Left bottom: Angel holding scroll “Glory to God”:
Centre bottom: Angel holding scroll “in the highest”:

Right bottom: Angel holding scroll “and peace on earth”.
